The Old Pineapple Inn is located on Pineapple Avenue, Indian River Lagoon National Scenic Highway, formerly the old Dixie Highway, US 1. The Eau Gallie Library, Pineapple Park, and the public fishing pier are all within walking distance. The Eau Gallie Civic Center, the Brevard Art Museum, the Rossetter House Museum, the Florida Historical Society, the Post Office, banks, art galleries, restaurants, day spas, antiques, specialty shops, and much more are only a short walk.
A two mile ride by car or bicycle is all that is required to gain access to the glorious Florida beaches on the Atlantic Ocean (left).
The Sebastian River Inlet (below) hails the best fishing in the world. Daily fishing charter excursions are available.
In the local area, there are over 15 public and private golf courses located in the vicinity. The King Center for the Performing Arts, the Phoenix Theatre, The Heneger Center for the Arts, the Cocoa Village Playhouse, and the Brevard Symphony Orchestra deliver the very best in live entertainment. The Brevard Zoo, Turkey Creek Sanctuary and the Botanical Gardens at F.I.T. round out the outdoor offerings.
Less than an hour’s drive will bring you to the Kennedy Space Center (left), the Astronaut’s Hall of Fame, the world famous Ron Jon’s Surf Shop, the Warbird Museum, the Cape Canaveral Light House and Port Canaveral. Disney Cruise Lines, Carnival Cruise Lines, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines are all stationed in Port Canaveral.
Orlando and West Palm Beach are each a 75 minute drive.
